Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room?

With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. Minimum size = Viewing distance/3 Maximum size=Viewing distance/1.5

Excellent TV!
I've never seen any TV's as clear as this. When I watch HD programming on other LCD TV's, I always compare it to mine. I have yet to see any TV's as clear as this.

Cons - When I first got the TV, it was too clear! Yes, there is such a thing. Took some time for my eyes to get used to it.

Excellent TV
Really, I haven't used all the full features of the TV. Anynet+ feature works really good. Anynet+ doesnot control all the features of each connected system but only few features. If you really concerned about price, wait for sometime for the price to go down or buy 650 or 550 would suffice more for the needs.

Short and Sweet
Without waisting a lot of words - the TV is fantastic and although I was somewhat apprehensive about buying on line the experience was wonderful. Amazon's price was the best and their white glove service can't be beat. I was expecting it on the 6th and it arrived on a Saturday the 2nd.

Great picture and sound. Also, Amazon had free shipping and no tax - best deal I found by >$350.00. Delivery was to the TV room with all packing material removed. Can't beat the deal and the TV. 120 hz makes an amazing picture and the connections are numerous. Sound is excellent even without the home theater turned on.
