    Customer Reviews:
Overpriced. Tries hard to be everything - and fails brilliantly
I had high hopes for this little timer when it first arrived - especially considering its steep price. I'd been searching for a subtle timer for my meditations and fell for all the hype in its description. Alas, it was difficult to operate, its display was impossible to read, the buttons were not intuitively placed, and the only thing "invisible" about it was a rational set of instructions. None of the alarms were "subtle", jerking me from quiet meditation to the middle of Times Square even when set to vibrate only. Despite its proclaimed one-year battery life, it ate batteries faster than a 4-year-old's favorite toy.

In a final un-Zen pique, I threw it at the wall. It didn't die (a plus if you need something sturcy), but it did hit the trash. There are far better timers out there that are reasonably priced and easy to use.

    Hasn't held up over time.
I bought my Invisible Clock about four years ago to use for meditation, yoga and as a mindfulness timer. It was very difficult to find a vibrating countdown timer that could be set to automatically repeat, so I was very happy to find this little clock. Even though it was pretty expensive, I purchased it.

I've had a few problems: My Invisible Clock doesn't keep good time and loses a few minutes every week, meaning I need to set it reguarly. The light feature stopped working within a year. Most importantly to me, the vibrate feature is no longer reliable. Sometimes when I set the switch to vibrate, the clock just starts vibrating and won't stop until I turn the switch back to "off" or "beep." Sometimes it works just fine. Other times it won't vibrate when it's time for the alarm, or it will vibrate but won't stop when I press a button.

Yes, I've owned this clock for about four years now, but considering the cost and the fact that I've used it gently, I would expect it to have proven to be more reliable.

    Love it!
This little timer is perfect for my meditation practice. It is small, unobtrusive, and completely trustworthy. I put it barely touching my leg, and forget about it. It has several settings for vibrate, and at the gentlest it nudges me to end a session. (It has many more functions than I need, but one never knows...at some point I may need them!)

It was inexpensive compared to most "meditation timers" and it works well. What more could you ask for??

    Invisible But Not Silent
I use this timer for my own sittings, at home. But, unfortunately, at a Zen group sitting, where you can hear every tiny noise from every participant, this timer is far too noisy in its vibration mode. To really work well for meditation, it needs a silent, flashing LED as an alarm option. It is also VERY complicated to use. Don't lose the instructions! Download an extra copy of them to your computer from the manufacturer's web site.

    Great features
I really like the features available on this clock. It is a bit smaller than I anticipated. With small size comes small parts. The buttons are fine, if a little close together. The hardest part to work is the little switch on the side. When you think you have it in place, it actually isn't. The off setting is in the middle, so if you don't have it set just right, it will beep or vibrate at you. I keep in my desk drawer at work, so it sometimes goes off and startles me.
