I love it. I had someone install it for me. He was really impressed. After he and I tested it we thought it was great. My husband a lot taller than I said it was blurry but that is because he went right up to it and I think he seen the porch floor. The only thing I noticed is we might have the lens wrong as we are seeing a mirror image. Like the flag outside should be on the left but looking through that it is on the right. I like that no one can see in.
A must have
I have seen these in newer housing tracks sold by door to door salesman but they don't come to my neighborhood so I bought this and installed myself. It requires you to drill a 2 3/8 hole in the door this size bit is hard to find but i found at ace hardware for 14.00. I test drilled and installed in a 2x4 to make sure everything worked and then went on to install in my door. The view is incredable and you don't need to be near the door if you can see the door you can see an image even 20' away but it is hard to recognize people so I guess thats why it says 7'. it is metal and looks like quality from both sides you can not view in from the outside only the inside so its safe and a must have.
