    Customer Reviews:
Why pay more than $15 for a $15 card?
Why pay shipping at all? These cards are available EVERYWHERE. You can get them at any grocery store. For those who don't have easy access to stores or are in other countries, go straight to the source and buy online from the iTunes store. You don't pay any s/h and you can have them emailed to the recipient or can print them out yourself(as a gift certificate rather than a gift card). What could be easier? The only thing is, iTunes doesn't have a $15 denomination-- the smallest is $10, then it jumps to $20.

So, would you rather pay over $23 ($16.80 plus $6.90 shipping) for 15 songs, or pay $20 for 20 songs? I have no affiliation with iTunes, Apple, or anyone at all for that matter ;-), I just hate seeing an unnecessary middle man get my/your money! Five star rating is for the product only.

    Buy it at a Walgreens
Don't bother buying it from here because of the shipping costs. You can pick one up anywhere these days. Walgreens, Walmart, Target, the Apple Store.
I've never yet had a problem with any purchases that was the iTunes store's fault; quite the opposite. I had an interrupted download and thought the purchase had not gone through, so I bought the song again. When I got the email bill, I noticed I was billed twice so I contacted the Apple people and I got a credit to buy another song and was informed how to resume the download if that ever happened again.
After four years of high school using a Mac on campus, I had to buy a laptop for college and, considering my experiences, I've bought a Toshiba laptop with Vista. The only product they've convinced me that they've gotten it right is iTunes (and their store) and the iPod.

    Disappointing Service
This product was never received. Seller was contacted and NEVER responded. Still waiting to hear back from Amazon regarding my claim. I am VERY disappointed in my service.

Great gift for a teenager or other music/video lover
I had my Mom buy one of these for me before I got my Visa card and I reimbursed her for it. Redeeming it was quick and easy, plus I could use it for everything on iTunes, from the iPod touch January Software Upgrade to my favorite movies and TV shows.

If you know someone who loves iTunes content, but doesn't have a credit card to buy it, this is a great gift to give them. If they do have a credit card, I recommend giving them a check.

Deceptive. Entices Kids to Wrack up Charges Unknowingly
The problem with suddenly asking for credit card info when one is using an iTunes card is that the (young) user is not notified when (or that) s/he has run out of credit on the iTunes card. It just suddenly asks for credit card info. My own daughter thought the request was a new requirement just to use the site and so did all her friends AND their parents. (BTW, If it isn't a requirement, iTunes certainly goes out of its way to hide that opt out option once you try to use your iTunes card for the first time!.

My daughter had no intentions of using the credit card for downloads. She thought the downloads were still being charged to her iTunes card. She didn't keep track, she figured it would cut her off when she reached her iTune's card limit. She's a kid, what does she know? Well, her iTunes card had run out (which she did not realize) and downloads automatically began being charged on our credit card!

You can imagine my shock when we got our credit card bill. We thought we were victims of identity theft. No such luck. We were merely victims of Apple's deceptive practices which deliberately prey upon minors. I will not pay this bill, but I will protest it-- loudly. Should they pursue payment, I will be the best buddy of consumer reporters everywhere. Then I will sue Apple. Those who have paid in these situations before, might want to pursue restitution.

Shame on Apple! I consider this thievary, and not by my daughter.
