Try to forget the fact that Bing Crosby probably never had to record another song in his life after he immortalized "White Christmas." If you can do that, you'll find plenty more to like in this crooning Christmas collection. There's the Romantic Bing, charming the tinsel right off the tree with "The Christmas Song," and that cure for cabin fever, "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" There's the Reverent Bing, solemnly singing "Adeste Fideles." And of course, there's Bing the Showman, belting out "Good King Wenceslas" with a bit of that ole vaudeville shine. But no matter what you're told, "White Christmas" will be the number one reason for sticking this one in your stocking. And who can blame you? how can anyone go wrong w/ bing crosby?? i love this album. had it as a cassette tape way b/4 cds. can't have a christmas without bing! he's the best of crooners :)
Missing Tracks?

I don't find those three songs on the track listing above.
Is there another version of this album that has these three extra songs on it?
holiday music
good staple to have for xmas time - songs are a little crackly due to the recording but good background music for the time period...
It's not Christmas without it.
I've had der Bingle's "White Christmas" on 78, 33, reel-to-reel and audio cassette. Now I have it on CD because it's not Christmas without it.

Christmas memories
My mother had this album (an actual record). I found this on casette for her and we enjoyed many Christmas' being serenaded by Bing. My mother died last year and I as I was facing my first Christmas without her I wanted to recreate some of her Christmas traditions for our family. One of them was the Christmas music she played each year. I was unable to locate this album on CD at any of the music stores. I went online to Amazon and was able to order it and receive it in time to play during the Christmas season.
